For those of you who have netflix. This small box basically streams netflix current selection of streaming films available on the internet, 10,000 opposed to their regular dvd selection of 100,000. So this little box here is wireless, if you choose to utilize it and has high definition output (hd films are not currently available to stream, yet). Being the technophile that I am I could not help but pick this up at 100 bucks plus shipping and tax.

it's time for perspective

A few nights ago I found an old picture frame from the only high school homecoming dance I attended. Staring at the picture of myself and the girl who became my best friend by default, largely because we spent close to every waking moment together, I was suddenly and quite overwhelmingly struck with the realization that I do not know that girl anymore. More to the point my social circle has dwindled to a select few whom I deem fit to keep me company. Who were all of these obscure characters who have disappeared as quickly as they were introduced into the story that is my life? Am I, at this moment, in the process of loosing more friends? Probably not. Even though, I am quite curious to how exactly this process occurred so many times without my stopping myself and thinking, 'hey, where is (insert transients name here)?'

a revelation too late to be acted upon.

Sitting here in my abnormal psychololgy class, with a professor whose teaching credibility is more than questionable, it begins to set in on me... the semester is almost over and i haven't learned a god damned thing from this professor. Now I'm not saying there aren't good professors at csun on the contrary I've been taught by many great professors at my stay here, in a couple instances these classes have spawned life changes as well as great friendships with my peers. But it's still not enough, now more than ever I'm coming to realize how ready I am for my stint in graduate school for cognitive psychology.

mid semester

so it's mid semester now and i can't say I don't feel a little overwhelmed, not to mention the upcoming 'spring break' feels as if I am staring at a veritable oasis through a pair of binoculars in this desert that is the end of my stay at csun. on a similar note, this weekend has brought out in me the indolence that I have been trying to keep at bay. I've hardly read or done other things that would have lightened my school work load, but I won't complain, instead i'll post a new video and let you get back to the work I'm sure you're procrastinating about.
